✅ नई दिल्ली, एजेंसियां। जहां दुनिया भर में कोरोना वायरस से पूरी दुनिया पीड़ित है, उसके निदान के लिए विश्व में अलग-अलग वैक्सीन और दवा खोजी जा रही है, ऐसे में भारत ने बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। ग्लेनमार्क फार्मास्युटिकल्स ने कोविड-19 से मामूली और मध्यम रूप से पीड़ित मरीजों के इलाज के लिए एंटीवायरल दवा फेविपिरविर को फैबिफ्लू ब्रांड नाम से पेश किया है। कंपनी ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी। मुंबई की कंपनी ने शुक्रवार को कहा था कि उसे भारतीय औषधि महानियंत्रक (डीजीसीआइ) से इस दवा के विनिर्माण और विपणन की अनुमति मिल गई है। कंपनी ने कहा कि फैबिफ्लू कोविड-19 के इलाज के लिए पहली खाने वाली फेविपिरविर दवा है, जिसे मंजूरी मिली है। यह दवा लगभग 103 रुपये प्रति टैबलेट की दर से बाजार में उपलब्ध होगी।

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has introduced the antiviral drug favipirvir under the brand name Fabiflu to treat patients with mild and moderate suffering from Covid-19. The company gave this information on Saturday. The Mumbai-based company said on Friday that it had received permission from the Controller General of India (DGCI) to manufacture and market the drug. The company said that Fabiflu is the first food favipirvir drug to treat Covid-19, which has been approved. This drug will be available in the market at the rate of around Rs 103 per tablet.

✅ ग्लेनमार्क फार्मास्युटिकल्स ने कहा कि यह दवा 34 टैबलेट की स्ट्रिप के लिए 3,500 रुपये के अधिकतम खुदरा मूल्य (एमआरपी) पर 200 मिलीग्राम टैबलेट के रूप में उपलब्ध होगी। ग्लेमार्क फार्मास्युटिकल्स के चेयरमैन एवं प्रबंध निदेशक ग्लेन सल्दान्हा ने कहा, यह मंजूरी ऐसे समय मिली है, जबकि भारत में कोरोना वायरस के मामले पहले की तुलना में अधिक तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं। इससे हमारी स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रणाली काफी दबाव में है। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि फैबिफ्लू जैसे प्रभावी इलाज की उपलब्धता से इस दबाव को काफी हद तक कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said the drug would be available as a 200 mg tablet at a maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs 3,500 for a strip of 34 tablets. Glenn Saldanha, chairman and managing director of Glamark Pharmaceuticals, said the approval has come at a time when the corona virus cases in India are increasing more rapidly than before.This has put our healthcare system under great pressure. He hoped that the availability of effective treatment like Fabiflu would help reduce this pressure to a great extent.

Glenmark said the company has successfully developed active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulations for Fabiflu through its in-house research and development team.
